"A calm house equals a calm heart equals a calm life" – Erica Layne

Tip #1 - Incorporate Natural Elements

Layer natural elements such as fresh garlands, pinecones (scented are great too), dried orange slices or foraged branches placed in a vase.

Sprinkling Christmas around your home doesn't have to feel overwhelming, store bought or cheesy. Often times those simple little touches make the biggest impact.

Tip #2 - Candles & Mood Lighting

Lighting can be an easy way to make a huge impact for creating a warm and cozy holiday space.

Opt for warm lights over colored or stark white. Another great option is to add twinkle lights to a garland or tablescape/centerpiece to add that extra magical touch. Lastly, don't forget to add candles throughout! Lots and lots of candles!

Tip #3 - Throw Blankets & Pillows

Add throw blankets and pillows that are colored for the season. I like to use warm, earthy colors such as olive green, brown, dark reds and creams.

Tip #4 - Add Ribbon

Add ribbons and bows to your garland or stockings. It's also super cute and fun to add on your hanging picture frames, wreaths and light fixtures. Loving the trending velvet ribbon this year in the pretty, muted holiday colors! Super easy, simple & affordable.

Tip #5 - Wrapping Paper

Wrapping paper is part of the decor! Try using natural, brown wrapping paper and adding twine with mini bottle brush trees, foraged branches/berries, dried orange slices or even dried florals.

Focus on creating the feeling of your space this holiday season.
